The Pima County Tea Party Patriots, Sahuarita Tea Party, Green Valley Tea Party, Benson Tea Party and Northwest Conservatives support
“THE PEOPLES VETO”.
The Pima county Tea Party Patriots are opposed to the expansion of medicaid in Arizona. It is fiscally irresponsible and unsustainable commitment for the taxpayers of the state.
No government entitlement program has ever effectively been scaled back, or eliminated, or
held within its initial cost projections. The long term and evolving costs of the Obamacare Medicaid
Expansion will surely bankrupt Arizona just as surely as Obamacare will bankrupt the Nation.
Press Release
October 19, 2012
The Pima County Tea Party Patriots have twice requested that Nancy Young-Wright remove the following false and misleading statement regarding our organization from her campaign WEB Site. So far she has adamantly refused.
“Pima County Tea Party Patriots support Dumping Nuclear Waste in Arizona”
A key cornerstone of the Pima County Tea Party Patriots is education.
“Our mission is to provide ordinary American citizens a platform from which their voices are heard by their Federal, State and local governments. Through education and organization, we hope to mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.”
The Pima County Tea Party Patriots find Nancy Young-Wright’s claims concerning the Pima County Tea Party Patriots to be divisive, inflammatory and misleading. http://nancyyoungwright.com/problem_miller.html
FACT:
Nancy Young-Wright’s refusal to fact check her statement and use this false information for personal political gain is irresponsible and deceitful to the public. This is not the type of character the residents of Pima County deserve on the Board of Supervisors.

Do you remember in January 2008 when candidate Obama said, “Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket?” Have you noticed the higher gas prices at the pump? A quick review of the energy decisions made by this administration includes: canceling the drilling leases in the Gulf of Mexico, canceling the Keystone pipeline and spending millions on green energy companies that subsequently file for bankruptcy.
Well these same regulations are coming to Arizona, unless we act.
On June 14th, three Conservative candidates for the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) will be here at the Oro Valley Library, from 6 – 8 PM. Incumbent Bob Stump and Candidates Susan Bitter Smith and Bob Burns will educate us on the proposed regulations and alternatives to higher energy and utility rates.
The ACC is the state wide elected body that adjudicates and approves water and energy rates for public service corporations including privately owned water companies. Current Commission rules require that energy providers must have 15% of their energy portfolio in renewables, which at the current time are more costly to the customer.
Incumbent Democrats on the Commission believe and are advocating that the 15% standard be increased to at least 30% or even higher using the state of California’s standards as their model. Such an increase in renewable standards would have a tremendous impact on rates. Conservatives do not support increasing the standards.
In addition, the incumbent Democrats on the Commission advocate the EPA’s goal of shutting down all coal fired power plants, including those in Arizona that contain environmental protections and provide affordable and reliable power to many Arizona customers, including the Central Arizona Project. Conservatives do not believe it is necessary to shut down these important energy sources and understand the huge impacts such a move would have on water and power rates to Arizona customers.
The Republican incumbents and the Republican candidate team for the Commission support efforts to insure affordable and reliable energy sources are available in the future for all Arizonans. This goal can be accomplished by allowing the market place to engage - not by incurring more government regulation.
This is not an endorsement of any candidate. The goal of the Pima County Tea Party Patriots is to educate and inform.

The passing of Andrew Breitbart is a tragic and shocking loss to Conservatives. Andrew was a true friend of the Tea Party movement; a courageous leader who did not waiver in his fight to expose government corruption. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. We all share in your loss. We will miss his leadership in the fight against government corruption.
