The Pima County Tea Party Patriots have twice requested that Nancy Young-Wright remove the following false and misleading statement regarding our organization from her campaign WEB Site. So far she has adamantly refused.
“Pima County Tea Party Patriots support Dumping Nuclear Waste in Arizona”
A key cornerstone of the Pima County Tea Party Patriots is education.
“Our mission is to provide ordinary American citizens a platform from which their voices are heard by their Federal, State and local governments. Through education and organization, we hope to mobilize our fellow citizens to secure public policy consistent with our three core values of Fiscal Responsibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets.”
The Pima County Tea Party Patriots find Nancy Young-Wright’s claims concerning the Pima County Tea Party Patriots to be divisive, inflammatory and misleading. http://nancyyoungwright.com/problem_miller.html
FACT:
- Nuclear Waste -The Pima County Tea Party Patriots do not support dumping of nuclear waste in Arizona. In April, we hosted a forum entitled “Benefits of Recycled Nuclear Fuel for Education, Medical and Energy in Arizona”. This was a forum for people to listen, learn and make their own judgment on the storage and use of recycled nuclear fuel.
Nancy Young-Wright’s refusal to fact check her statement and use this false information for personal political gain is irresponsible and deceitful to the public. This is not the type of character the residents of Pima County deserve on the Board of Supervisors.
